The department of mathematics is one of the favored departments of the government of Maharashtra's Ismail Yusuf College, Jogeshwari (E), Mumbai. It was established in 1930 and since we are running an undergraduate program in mathematics.
The Mathematics department has a strong principle of promulgating high quality teaching and implanting research attitude in students. The faculty of the department are well qualified and motivated with a strong commitment to teaching and research. The department also organized workshops, symposia and national and international conferences in association with other departments of college . Our graduate student steadily goes to higher education in well-known colleges across the country and abroad.
