Scholarship/Freeship
College encourages students to apply for various scholarship schemes. There is a dedicated committee of teachers with a clerical staff working for this purpose. Students taking admissions under different reserved quotas are identified and contacted by the committee members.
In the academic year 2018-19, a session was organized for them in the auditorium to impart information of various scholarship schemes by Prof. Kiran Taksande, Prof. Nitin Shelake, and the team. Also, banners were displayed at prominent places on the campus for student’s attention. About 70 students from various streams in the college applied for scholarships. From which 58 students forms had been approved for the award of scholarships by various Maharashtra state government departments (DHE Pune office, Social welfare department, and Tribal department). Most of them received scholarships from “Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulka Shishyavrutti Yojana”.
This year a computer with internet facility is deployed near the entrance of the reading hall in the library for students to register themselves online for the scholarship schemes.
